Genrobotics Innovation Pvt Ltd Genrobotics Innovation Pvt Ltd

Genrobotics has made a significant impact in the fields of sanitation and rehabilitation through its innovative technologies. Founded with the mission to eliminate the inhumane practice of manual scavenging, the startup introduced the Bandicoot robot—the world's first robotic scavenger designed to clean manholes and sewers. This technology not only protects sanitation workers from hazardous conditions but also upholds human dignity and promotes public health. Deployed across more than 17 states in India, the Bandicoot has garnered recognition from the Indian government with the National Startup Award 2020 and has been featured in the United Nations' "Innovations for Sustainable Development" report.

In addition to revolutionizing sanitation, Genrobotics has also advanced the field of rehabilitation with its G Gaiter system. This state-of-the-art robotic gait trainer uses a dynamic bodyweight support system and an advanced robotic exoskeleton to aid in rehabilitation. Featuring three therapy modes—Passive, Assistive, and Active—and incorporating VR technology for personalized and engaging therapy sessions, G Gaiter has been installed in six hospitals in Kerala. Over the past year, it has facilitated more than 2,500 therapy sessions and supported over 1.5 million robotic-assisted steps, significantly enhancing the quality of life for individuals with gait disabilities.

Through these groundbreaking innovations, Genrobotics is not only setting new standards in sanitation but also improving rehabilitation practices, positively impacting countless lives and influencing public policy on a global scale.
